📝 Ingredients
- 1 lb beef (sirloin or flank steak), thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp sriracha or chili garlic sauce (adjust to taste)
- ½ tsp fresh ginger, grated
- ¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for extra heat)
- 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
- ½ onion, thinly sliced
- ¼ cup green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
🔥 Directions
- Sear the Beef:
In a large skillet or wok, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
Add the sliced beef, season with salt and pepper, and stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until nicely browned. Remove and set aside. - Make the Sauce:
In the same pan, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Stir in the honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sriracha, ginger, and red pepper flakes. Simmer gently for 1–2 minutes to combine the flavors. - Toss It All Together:
Return the beef to the skillet, then add the bell pepper and onion.
Stir-fry everything together for another 2–3 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender-crisp and the beef is well coated in that luscious sauce. - Serve & Garnish:
Spoon over hot steamed rice or noodles, and sprinkle with chopped green onions for a fresh, zesty finish.
